The Envirosun THX Plus is a confined glycol solar system that is ideal for places with sub-zero winter night temperatures, frequent frosts, and, in some situations, snow. It’s also a better option in locations where the water quality isn’t quite up to par. This technique indirectly transfers the absorbed energy to the water using the highly efficient heat transmitting properties of a particular antifreeze fluid called Glycol. The water in the storage tank does not flow through the solar collectors in the Envirosun THX Plus solar hot water system; instead, a glycol fluid is circulated from the solar panels through a “jacket” wrapped around the hot water storage tank.
Like the Envirosun TS Plus, the Envirosun THX Plus glycol solar hot water system has been officially certified. It has a greater STC rating than any other brand of the same system type, which speaks for itself.
Our solar hot water systems come with electric stimulants that can also be supplemented with natural or LPG gas boosters to ensure that enough hot water is available even in the worst weather conditions or when demand for hot water is high. Our storage tanks have electric components, and instantaneous gas heaters can be placed in-line from our systems’ outlets. Both choices maximise the quantity of solar energy captured while only using the auxiliary as a backup or booster.

I was impressed with Hot Water solutions. They replaced my aging gas hot water cylinder. Their quote was less than my local plumber, and they could book me in within a reasonable time. They arrived on time, the team were polite, efficient and had great communication, for example, they were clear about when they would turn the water off and when the job was complete, they ran me thought their work and how the cylinder operated. The quality of the work looked good to me. I would recommend them to anyone.

Our old hot water cylinder started leaking, and the new models didn’t fit in the existing cupboard. Fortunately, I found Hot Water Solutions online. Jarrod provided expert advice and options tailored to my situation. We decided on the Apricus 260L heat pump hot water system, and it has been fantastic! I waited to see if it would save on electricity as claimed, and it definitely does. Thank you, Jarrod and team—highly recommended for their knowledge and service!Regarding the Apricus 260L unit: it works well, and the WiFi connection allows for remote monitoring and control via the app. The only downside is the noise when it’s producing hot water, but with the app, I can schedule it to turn off at night, and there’s still plenty of hot water for everyone.

The team did a fantastic job for us. They were super responsive to my initial enquiry, explained our options and came out to do a site assessment. Our install was a little complex as we were removing 2 old cylinders and replacing with a heat pump hot water cylinder which we located outside but they did a great job with the installation, doing exactly as we asked. The new cylinder is great and already saving us money. I'd have no hesitation dealing with them in future- highly recommended!!!
We had a faulty hot water cylinder, the team came on time and they were very detailed and recommendations. We had to replace the hot water cylinder, again it was quick and on time with no hassles.
